Google Keeps Making Negative SEO Much Easier

What is negative SEO? It is opposite of search engine optimization. It means forcing a web page to appear further down the rankings. Since latest Google search engine Panda update, we have been studying certain pattern in Google search engine results and we discovered that Google has made negative SEO much easier!

We have observed a series of websites which are ranking for the most competitive keywords and phrases. These guys have no social media engagement, no press release campaigns, no article marketing and white hat link building campaign. Their links are coming from bunch of Russian sites. The guy who is operating these websites has bought TLDs in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. The pricing which he set is below the rate that SEO companies in Scandinavia charge their clients.

This is obviously a suspicious keyword ranking.

They appeared out of blue on search engines for the most competitive keywords and they are climbing up on Google. It came to our attention that these guys are using link attack at the same time they build their own links on high PR Russian sites with high page rank. We also discovered that they are applying negative SEO attack which outranks their competitors.  Obviously many of you have noticed these types of problems by now.

This is how these people climb on Google. We have reported to Google about this phenomenon and we are sure that they know by now what is going on.  This is how they do it. They:

-      Create a giant feed

-      They buy some links with various anchor text A new website  can be indexed within 3-4 hours on top 10 results on Google page one.

-      They continue this process and keep their sites on top.  This is how they manipulate search engine results.
We believe that Google engineers should sort their house out. Their Panda 3.3 update made disappear some paid blog networks while their algorithm accidently made some spammy websites get to higher ranking! These websites are manipulating the quality search results.
If you notice in your statistics that you receive links from some websites that are not related to your niche, you are the victim of a link attack. This means that your competition is working against your website to get you outranked for your keywords or phrases.  Should you be worried?  If your website is on their way of making money, yes you should be worried.

Here is a question: Why would a well established website point 10000 unnatural links in one day to their own website?! It does not make any sense!  Why an authority website would send unnatural links twice a month to their own website?! Here is the answer: these are victim of link attack.

A competitor can push down your website by sending many links periodically. This will trigger Panda 3.3 to outrank your website on not only keyword/phrase but domain level. There are many SEOs who say that negative SEO work on new website ( 1.5 years old). This is not true.  How long does it take to get your website back on track? It takes 15-20 days. If you are a victim, you need to wait a few weeks until Google updates their algorithm.

Are you a victim of those negative SEO link attacks?
